International relations is the study of how countries interact with each other. It is a combination of politics, history, sociology, law, economics and geography, and how all of these components come together in the context of international cooperation.
You will develop your understanding of how states work together for the better of society, trying not to repeat historical mistakes, and provide future developments.
Modules you study might include global history, war and peace, international conflict, modern politics, and international security. Your degree will be delivered in a mixture of modes. These could include lectures and seminars, as well as group projects. You may also be given the opportunity to take part in a work placement.
