International Student Visas

International students heading to Lebanon typically receive a Visa on Arrival (VOA) at Beirut International airport or through a seaport, valid for one month and extendable for two more. For longer studies, a student residence permit is necessary and should be obtained before the visa expires, with costs around $300 depending on nationality​​.

There are over 30 universities in Lebanon and the vast majority of these are privately funded. There is 1 public university in Lebanon, the Lebanese University, which was formed in 1951.

Many of the private universities in Lebanon are non-secular, such as the Middle East University (Lebanon), the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik and Al Maaref University.

Language Requirements
