The programme is dedicated mainly to non-European students interested in the exploration of the sources of European identity. The contemporary European culture is rooted in the ancient Greek and Roman culture and philosophy, in the Christian religion and, last but not least, in the scientific worldview of modern times. For this reason the programme encompasses the elements of European history, philosophy, literature, culture, religion, science and politics. The programme comprises also courses of the modern and ancient European languages. As a result, graduates will gain basic knowledge about the history, culture and languages of Europe and will better understand the European mentality and its sources.
