Entry requirements

Admission to IAAD.'s Undergraduate courses adheres to the following criteria:

  • Possession of an upper secondary school diploma or an equivalent qualification earned abroad.
  • Successful completion of the admission test.

The primary objective of the admission test is to assess the applicant's analytical skills and ascertain the motivations and interests driving their application to the Bachelor’s course.

For INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS:

International students aiming to enroll in a bachelor’s course conducted in Italian are required to provide official certification of their proficiency in Italian.
A minimum proficiency level of intermediate B2 is necessary, with exemptions applicable as per the annual regulations outlined by the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Education, Universities, and Research.
These exemptions may relate to entry procedures, residence, and the registration of international students, and are published annually.

Fees, Funding and Scholarships at IAAD. - Institute of Applied Art and Design

IAAD. annually provides financial assistance to students, aiding in covering their tuition fees.

BACHELOR’S COURSES

First-year students at IAAD receive financial aid based on their income, motivation, and aptitude, offering partial exemption from the annual tuition fee. Economic qualifications depend on the student's family income and assets.

Applicants can submit a copy of their valid University ISEE certificate via email during the application phase, no later than the date of the admission test session they plan to attend.

MASTER’S

IAAD. supports Master’s students with scholarships partially covering course expenses and offers subsidized loans for further studies.

Please note that the number of available scholarships is limited, and it's crucial to consider that they are awarded based on the Commission's evaluation of specific qualifications, including:

  • Personal portfolio
  • Educational qualifications and degrees
  • Professional experience

The Commission evaluator will award scholarships at her sole discretion. IAAD provides scholarships amounting to 50% of the tuition fee. Successful candidates will be notified of their scholarship upon acceptance into the Master’s program via email.
