This newly created centre provides a forum for scholarship and ideas in comparative strategic organisation and management studies. Research focuses on pertinent organisational issues around strategy and managerial practices in relation to culture, space, time and ownership types. These four dimensions, placed within a comparative framework, will enable the analysis of organisation and management from multiple perspectives, in context, over time and also spatially.
Centre for Institutional PerformanceThe Centre for Institutional Performance (CIP) has been set up to study and assess institutional arrangements between markets (firms, industries and regulation), governments, and non-governmental organisations (non-profit institutions such as charity and pressure groups).
International AccountingThe group of researchers in this subject have investigated the causes and the nature of international differences in financial reporting. Another topic is the use of International Accounting Standards around the World.
The Centre for EntrepreneurshipThis Centre aims to act as a forum for transferring knowledge between those who are interested in entrepreneurship from an academic perspective, and those who are engaged in practice in entrepreneurial ventures of all kinds.
