About Modern Celtic Studies and Humanities, BA - at University of Exeter

Cornwall is located at the edge of Britain and Europe but at the centre of a number of global networks, with traditional links north and south to Wales and Brittany and overseas to transoceanic communities in the Americas and Australia. This makes it an ideal location to study how Celtic Europe fits into modern society.

Modern Celtic Studies draws from history, the social sciences and literary studies to foster an understanding of how Brittany, Cornwall, Ireland, the Isle of Man, Scotland and Wales relate both to each other and with the European core. It also allows you to combine this in a flexible way with modules from either English, History and Politics.
