Griffith University is a large-scale university with over 35,000 enrolled students and 7,000 international students. A relatively new institution, Griffith University was established in 1975 and now operates five campuses across the South East Queensland region. 

Griffith places special focus on ensuring that all research conducted at the university has a positive impact on societies and our environment. The university operates several award-winning research institutes committed to socially impactful research including the Griffith Institute for Drug Discovery (GRIDD), the Australian Rivers Institute (ARI), the Cities Research Institute (CRI) and the Griffith Asia Institute (GAI). 

A few of Griffith’s current areas of research focus include sustainable tourism, water science and chronic diseases. The university offers more than 200 degree programmes. In addition to its five physical campuses, Griffith University also operates a fully digital online campus where international students can enrol from their home countries. 

The university has built a strong alumni network of over 250,000 Griffth graduates across more than 130 countries worldwide who are always willing to help international students connect with relevant businesses and employers post-graduation.
