About Kazan Federal University

Founded in 1804, Kazan Federal University is the second oldest university in Russia.

Kazan University is located in Kazan city - the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan and one of the most dynamically developing and comfortable cities in Russia.

Being for decades the main center of higher education for the vast Volga region, Kazan Federal University offers a wide variety of different level programs for 42,000 students. KFU represents almost all spectrum of natural sciences, life sciences and medicine, arts and humanities, social sciences and engineering.

The most innovative academic programs are: Chemoinformatics and Molecular Modeling; General and Strategic Management; Medical Biochemistry; Evidence-based Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapy; Open Informatics; High-Energy Physics and Cosmology.
