These institutions offer a variety of masters degrees, including Master of Science (MSc), Master of Arts (MA), Master of Engineering (MEng), Master of Business Administration (MBA), among others.
In Sweden, the duration for postgraduate degrees typically ranges from one to two years for coursework degrees. Research-oriented degrees, like a Master of Research (MRes), may take longer due to the extensive nature of research required.
Although Swedish is the national language, more and more masters degrees are taught in English, which helps to accommodate an international student community. This makes Sweden an attractive destination for students from around the globe.

The required application documents usually include a personal statement, a CV, academic transcripts, and letters of recommendation.
Proof of English proficiency is a requirement, with IELTS or TOEFL scores commonly accepted. Some programmes may require specific academic backgrounds or additional entrance examinations.
Sweden offers free tuition for students from the EU/EEA and Switzerland. However, students from outside these regions are required to pay tuition fees, which can vary depending on the university. Generally, postgraduate degrees fees start from around 80,000 SEK per year. A range of scholarships are available to international students, which can provide financial support for international students.
