Engineering management is a discipline that combines the technical skills of engineering with the administrative knowledge of management and business. As an engineering manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation of complex engineering processes, ensuring that they are carried out safely, efficiently and within legal limitations.
During an Engineering Management degree, you will cover a range of areas. These will likely cover the basics of engineering and business, ensuring that you are able to understand both areas properly. Some examples of modules you might study include:
