Buckinghamshire New University was given its full university status in 2007 and has three campuses in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire and West London. The university offers many courses, however, also offers several courses that are a rarity in British Universities.

There are two academic faculties at Buckinghamshire New University. These are the Faculty of Design, Media & Management, and the Faculty of Society & Health.
