About Air Transport with Private Pilot Training at Buckinghamshire New University

This course teaches you the practical aspects of flying needed for a variety of air transport roles. Developed with industry professionals, it focuses on trends shaping the aviation industry today and in the future. You will have the chance to go on educational visits and carry out a work placement. You will also benefit from the University’s FNPT II Flight Simulator which you will use during the final year of your studies.

On this programme, you will gain the theoretical and practical pilot training knowledge to attain a Private Pilot's Licence (PPL). The PPL qualification allows you to continue your flying studies at a later date, to achieve a Frozen Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL).
