Marine Management, also referred to as Maritime Management, as a degree focuses on the study and management of marine ecosystems, resources, and industries. It equips students with the knowledge and skills to address the complex challenges of sustainable marine practices, conservation, and coastal development.
Studying Marine Management allows individuals to make a positive impact on the sustainable use and conservation of marine resources. Graduates of a degree in Marine Management will have a wide variety of career options available to them in the marine and coastal sectors. These include marine conservation officer, fisheries manager, marine policy analyst, coastal planner, marine tourism manager, and environmental consultant. This degree opens doors to work with governmental agencies, non-profit organisations, research institutions, and private industries.
