The University of Stirling was founded in 1967 and received official university status in 2002. It is based two miles away from the city of Stirling in Scotland. The University is campus based, on 330 acres of land featuring a loch, a golf course and an 18th century castle.
The University of Stirling is ranked as one of the world’s top 350 universities in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings (2014-2015) and 1st for a ‘Good place to be’ (International Student Barometer, 2012).
