The Sir Peter Mansfield Imaging Centre is home to the university’s MRI scanners, and is named after our colleague who won the Nobel Prize for his part in its invention.
Tailored modules such as Functional Medical Imaging and Molecular Biophysics will give you a specialist understanding of medical physics. You will also study the core physics modules to give you a deeper knowledge of this exciting subject.
This course will also give you real practical experience of hospital physics at the Queens Medical Centre. Benefit from specialist lectures by senior practising medical physicists. There is flexibility to transfer between most physics degrees after the first year.
Learning the fundamentals of physics together with specialist medical physics will prepare you for high-level positions and a range of careers.
