This specialist business programme will enable you to develop your entrepreneurial skills and will prepare you to start up and grow your own micro-enterprise or small or medium-sized business. In your first year, you will study courses on business processes, economics for business, organisation behaviour and business planning and development.
You will be encouraged to enter our business-planning competition which rewards student entrepreneurship and innovation with prizes of investment capital. One of our previous students won a top prize of £5,000. You will be linked with a mentor through our employer networks to support you in developing your business plan. You will have the option to undertake a work placement in your third year.
You can also participate in the Erasmus+ international exchange programme. Students on this programme may apply to become affiliate members of the Chartered Management Institute. Successful completion of all programme courses will lead to exemptions towards associate and fellow membership on graduation.Employability
Youwill connect with employers through our dedicated Business SchoolEmployability Team who focus on developing your employmentskills. They also provide you with CV support and will inviteyou to employment fairs to network with employers and recruiters fromindustries.
