The MA programme is one of few of its kind in Europe. Drawing on expertise in the Politics Department and the Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies, the programme examines a wide range of topics, including the political economy of the Middle East, international relations of the Middle East, Islam and politics, and democratisation.
Entry requirements Normally a 2:1 Honours degree or above. Undergraduate degrees in Politics or a relevant social science subject are preferable for many of the programmes but not a requirement in all cases.
