The Abdullah Gül University (AGU) is a young and dynamic Turkish State University and already one the best in the country. It opened its doors to students in Fall 2013 with the aim to produce graduates who can shape the future, equipped with the best skills for today’s globalised society.
AGU is the first State University in Turkey with legal provision for support by a private foundation (including many prominent figures of Turkey), which is solely dedicated to the University and its objectives.
As a New Generation University, AGU places great emphasis on interdisciplinary research, hands-on training, university-industry collaboration and innovative teaching. AGU is a research university that embraces solution seeking for global challenges.
All AGU Undergraduate Programs are ranked in the Top 10 nationally. The University also ranked 2nd among State universities and 5th among all universities in the 2017 "National University Satisfaction Survey" and12th (out of 193 universities) in the 2017 "Innovative and Entrepreneurial Universities" index of the Turkish Science and Technology Foundation (TÜBİTAK).
The Abdullah Gül University is an international higher education hub located in the heart of Turkey, Kayseri - a bustling industrial city, home to 1.3 Mio. inhabitants and conveniently located close to UNESCO World Heritage Site of Cappadocia and at the foot of Mt. Erciyes, which hosts a modern and high quality Ski resort.
All programs at AGU are taught 100% in English by high quality Academics with an international background.
