Study a Museum Studies Masters abroad in 2025

A masters degree in museum studies, also known as museology, will allow you to take your knowledge to the next level. Students can develop their skills in curatorship, exhibition development and digital cultural heritage, as well as having the opportunity to study modules on specific time periods or regions of the world. Usually taking 1-2 years to complete, a masters degree in museum studies is designed to prepare you to take the next step in your future.

Admission Requirements

Entry into a masters degree in museum studies usually requires a bachelor's degree in a related subject. Some programs will take students from other subject areas. There might be other specific entry requirements, your university will provide more information about this.

You will also need to provide evidence of your proficiency in the teaching language, which is most commonly English for international students. This can be done through the IELTS and TOEFL tests.
