Study a Modern History Studies Masters abroad in 2025

Develop your understanding of modern and contemporary history.

A masters degree in modern history will allow you to advance your knowledge, preparing you for your future career. You will be able to study modules that are more detailed and specific. This will enable you to further understand the effects of modern history on how we live today. Usually taking 1-2 years to complete, a masters degree in modern history is a good stepping stone for your future.

Admission Requirements

Admission requirements to a masters degree in modern history normally requires a bachelor's degree in a related field. Some universities will take students who have degrees in other subjects. There may be other academic requirements, which your university can provide more information about.

You will also need to provide evidence of your proficiency in the teaching language of the program you will be applying for. This can be done with results from TOEFL or IELTS tests, which are widely accepted by universities around the world.
