Whether you’re a recent arts graduate, a budding entrepreneur or a seasoned media professional, this course will help you to tackle the real challenges of running a creative business.
Focusing on the special relationship between creativity, strategic management and cultural entrepreneurship, this was the first programme in the UK to examine the business of creativity. You’ll be invited to develop your understanding of creative organisations, teams, value creation and markets in the context of the global creative economy. We encourage you to discover a creative approach to management and a managed approach to creativity, which can then be applied to a range of scenarios and industries.
You’ll gain first-hand knowledge of industry practices and debates through engagement with industry experts and practical projects where you’ll develop your strategic thinking, research, leadership, and team working skills. Recent graduates have gone on to work in a variety of roles in areas such as TV, advertising, research, marketing, rights management or have set-up their own creative enterprises.
