If you want to study a diploma or degree and need to improve your academic study skills, this programme is for you.
No matter what your age, if you are looking to get into study, this programme offers different pathways to best prepare you and give you the confidence to succeed on your chosen degree and diploma. Studying the programme full time involves 17 weeks of classes. You can also study part time.
What pathways can I choose?
There are three pathways to choose depending on what you want to do:
- The Hauora Pathway for Health will prepare you for applying for the Bachelor of Nursing or other degree or diploma related to Health.
- Te Hapāi Hāpori Pathway for Counselling and Social Work will prepare you for the Paetahi Tumu Korero Bachelor of Counselling, the Bachelor of Social Work or a degree or diploma related to Counselling, Social Work or working with communities.
- Te Tūāpapa Pathway, open pathway, will prepare you for a degree or diploma study in Business, IT, Aquaculture and Viticulture and Winemaking or other areas.
Course selection does not occur until after your application is with us and we will then talk to you about the courses you want to choose.
