At Melbourne Polytechnic we have successfully delivered vocational education to the northern suburbs of Melbourne for over 100 years. From trade beginnings at Collingwood Technical School through to NMIT, we’ve changed our name to suit the changing times and broader education suite and expanded into Melbourne’s southern suburbs, in Prahran. Our history reflects the rise of vocational and technological education in Victoria over the course of the twentieth century and into the new millennium.
