At Melbourne Polytechnic we have successfully delivered vocational education to the northern suburbs of Melbourne for over 100 years. From trade beginnings at Collingwood Technical School through to NMIT, we’ve changed our name to suit the changing times and broader education suite and expanded into Melbourne’s southern suburbs, in Prahran. Our history reflects the rise of vocational and technological education in Victoria over the course of the twentieth century and into the new millennium.
Throughout the last decade, we have adopted pathways and programs that are progressive in today’s education market in order to provide you with a career-focused, holistic learning experience.
You can handpick the perfect combination of higher education and vocational learning from our teachers with real world experience, to get the best possible foundation for success.
Melbourne Polytechnic was the first institution to offer contemporary learning and vocational education in Victoria, and today we continue to offer the latest in education, providing you with direct pathways to graduate and postgraduate degrees. We offer industry and professional career programs in the arts, social and related behavioural sciences, engineering, education, and natural sciences and technology.
Wherever you want to go in life, want to be or part of – we are here to help you achieve it.
