About the Program
With the flexibility and convenience of studying online, the Interior Decorating Associate Diploma prepares students with the industry-based skills to become an interior decorator. The program explores space-planning, hand-drawing and computer drafting, perspectives and rendering, lighting and furnishing, and textiles and sustainable materials across home décor, staging, retail, workplace, event and set design. Over the course of the program, students build a professional portfolio that showcases both their conceptual and applied creative, technical, and business expertise while learning how to market themselves as professionals.

Starting your career in Interior Decorating is as simple as submitting a short essay. Through a statement of interest (300 - 500 words), share your thoughts on the interior decorating industry, aspects of the industry that interest you, and your reasons for wanting to have a career in interior decorating. We will also be gauging your passion for interior decorating through your hobbies, part-time jobs, and/or coursework.
Applicants are expected to present their statement of interest in a professional manner, paying attention to spelling, grammar and format.
