Entry requirements

To become a Yorkville University student:

  • You must have an Ontario secondary school diploma (Grade 12) or its equivalent.
  • You may be asked to take a mature student test, if you are over 18 and not enrolling directly from secondary school.

Starting your career in Interior Decorating is as simple as submitting a short essay. Through a statement of interest (300 - 500 words), share your thoughts on the interior decorating industry, aspects of the industry that interest you, and your reasons for wanting to have a career in interior decorating. We will also be gauging your passion for interior decorating through your hobbies, part-time jobs, and/or coursework.

Applicants are expected to present their statement of interest in a professional manner, paying attention to spelling, grammar and format.

Note: Essays will not be returned.
