They last three years. Courses are taught from October to June from Mondays to Fridays during the day. During the third year the student is required to complete a B.A. thesis under a supervisor which consists of a written part and a set of works in photography or video. Students whose proficiency in English is not sufficiently advanced may write their thesis in their native language and have it translated into English at their own cost. The written thesis will be an analysis of a particular problem and will reflect the intellectual development of the student during his/her studies at our University. The visual work will become an important part of the student’s portfolio and will be useful to find employment or be admitted to an M.A. programme.
The core of the B.A. programmes are the Photography courses taught by the faculty of the Warsaw School of Photography and Graphic Design. To obtain a B.A. the student has to take additional courses offered by the Warsaw University of Humanities in order to comply with the requirements of the Polish Ministry of Research and Higher Education and with the European Union Comission.
