Computer Science (General)
Three-year degree program
Offers exposure to the various components of computer science
Provides a solid background in the foundation of computing and other subject areas
Computer Science with Optional Co-op (Honours)
Four-year degree program
Provides in-depth advanced theory and practice
Fields of Specialization:
1) Artificial Intelligence
Includes topics such as logic and symbolic programming, search techniques, knowledge representations, planning and natural language processing
2) Game Development
Focuses on such topics relevant to computer game development as: artificial intelligence for computer games; graphics; and multimedia and team-oriented game development
A game development capstone project completes the final year
Provides solid groundwork for entry level positions in rapidly growing game and game-related industries
3) Multimedia
Emphasizes WWW, visualization and human computer interface
Fees are an estimation and are based on tuition for eight (8) months or two (2) academic terms. Does not include Incidental Fees ($1,600-$1,700*), Textbooks ($1,000*), Living Expenses ($5,800**), or Meal Plan ($2,300***).

ENG4U and MHF4U required. MCV4U is strongly recommended
75% minimum average for students applying for co-op
Computer Science/Math second average is the minimum average of all math courses.
English Language Proficiency
The following are many different types of English proficiency tests that the university accepts with the minimum required scores:
TOEFL - Computer based score: 220 with Test of Written English score: 4.5. Internet based score: 83 with essay score: 20.
IELTS: 6.5.
CAEL: 60.
MELAB: 85.
