Overview

We have designed this course to meet the varying needs of individuals and to provide the best possible foundation for you to gain a professional qualification in nutritional therapy.


Why choose this course?This top-up course allows students who have completed the BSc Nutritional Therapy accredited practitioner award to 'top-up' and progress to the Honours level qualification.This Nutritional Therapy BSc degree is supported through University of West London's Virtual Learning Environment (Blackboard and PebblePad) which is available through the University's website, 24 hours a day via internet access.
Career and study progressionUpon successful completion of this course, you will be able to move into a wide variety of food industry areas including new product development, the health sector.
As a graduate you could continue your education to postgraduate level in a specialised area such as dietetics.

Funding

Help with funding is available to a range of students, whether you are studying full or part-time, in your home country or overseas.

You may be eligible for a student loan to cover the cost of tuition fees or a maintenance loan to support you during your studies.   • Full Time Undergraduate Bursary: a £3,000 award for new undergraduate students.
  • Path to Success Scholarship: a £4,000 award for students on a four-year degree course with a foundation year.

Please note fees are paid for each year of study unless otherwise stated. You will be required to re-enrol and pay fees at the beginning of each academic year. Fees may be subject to government regulations on fee increases. Future inflationary increases will be applied to each subsequent year of the course, subject to government regulations on fee increases.

Entry requirements

Students can progress to the BSc (Hons) Nutritional Therapy once they have successfully completed the BSc Nutritional Therapy. This is a top-up year where students will conduct a piece of research which will be presented as their Dissertation.

International entry criteria
International students need to meet our English language requirement at either IELTS at 5.5 or above.
