Windesheim is in the top three of broad-based Universities of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands; we are highly ranked by both students and experts. Student life

Windesheim is located in Zwolle, a welcoming, lively and safe city only one hour’s drive from Amsterdam, with reasonable prices for living expenses. Zwolle is well known for its beautiful historic city centre, with lots of cafés, restaurants, parks, shops and cultural activities. International students are housed in a student residence close to the campus and the city centre, where you can live and study together.

On the Windesheim campus there’s a large variety of student facilities available to you: sports facilities, including a fitness centre, climbing wall, dojo and a large swimming pool, but also our media centre, a copy and campus shop and several canteens. We even have a grand café where Starbucks coffee is served!

Finance

Unfortunately, Windesheim doesn't provide scholarships. Tuition fee is only €2078 per year for EU/EEA students (€1039 in the first year), and €6500 for non EU students.

Accommodation Information for Students

If you come to study at Windesheim, you'll need somewhere to live. Windesheim currently offers assistance in finding accommodation to international students.

Windesheim cooperates with a national housing agency in Zwolle called SSH (Stichting Studentenhuisvesting). SSH offers furnished student rooms in Zwolle to students 'Global Project and Change Management' (guaranteed housing). Students 'International Business' have to find their own housing in Zwolle, which is easier than in the bigger cities in the Netherlands, but we reccomend to start early.

Study Abroad Information

Windesheim has been awarded the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE), which means you can take part in the Erasmus+ programme. Windesheim recognizes credits awarded to students by Erasmus partners in other countries. Grants are also available to Erasmus students to help them support themselves while abroad.
