This exciting course has been developed in response to the needs of the current music industry. It is aimed at musicians who wants to develop their own performance, writing skills and technical knowledge to support the recording of music and gain essential industry 'know-how' to launch a successful career.

Please note fees are paid for each year of study unless otherwise stated. You will be required to re-enrol and pay fees at the beginning of each academic year. Fees may be subject to government regulations on fee increases. Entry requirements
112-128 UCAS tariff points at Level 3, which would normally include at least two subject areas including Music or Performance or an alternative relevant subject area plus GCSE English and Maths (A*-C).

If you believe you meet the required standard but have no formal qualifications we may invite you for an audition. Our auditions are informal and include a relaxed interview.
You must also show experience with music technology. Unless you have been studying on a recognised music technology course, we will ask you to provide a portfolio consisting of two or three tracks, together with a detailed report on how they were recorded, and your involvement in the process. International students need to meet our English language requirement at either IELTS at 6.0 or above and a minimum of 5.5 for each of the 4 individual components (Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening).
