The mentoring module is aimed at anybody who would like to become a work-based mentor or introduce a mentoring programme to their organisation.

Assessment
Depending on your level of qualification or experience, the assessment will vary slightly. For example, at level 4, this is equivalent to the first year of a University degree, the assessment is as follows:
Developing the mentoring programme
1,400 words
Reflective journal
1,400 words
Observed mentoring session
20 minutes
This goes up to the maximum word count of 2,100 words at the degree and postgraduates levels. We will discuss with you which level will be best for your needs and circumstances.
Further Information
You will be required to attend two teaching days at the Carmarthen Campus. These days will provide you with a secure foundation to begin your study. Throughout this module you will be supported by a Tutor. This support can either be face-to-face, via telephone, email or Skype - or a mix of all these.
This module can be funded through ESF for eligible participants.
