The Master’s degree offers an advanced study programme focusing on English language, literature and culture for students wishing to acquire both state-of-the- art knowledge and professional skills in the field. It offers a unique chance to receive a high-quality education that actively responds to the vibrant challenges of the marketplace, and plays on a European scale in terms of advanced professional specialisation in the international lingua franca. Its English-medium courses make it fully accessible for international students.
Programme structure
1st Year: Special Topics in English Linguistics; English Language, Linguistics and Translation; English/Angloamerican Literature; Linguistics and Philology
2nd Year: Literary Translation; Critical and Teaching Approaches to English Literature; English Language, linguistics and translation; English/Angloamerican Literature
The programme is a study track – held completely in English – of the Master’s degree programme in Lingue e letterature Europee e Americane
Career opportunities
Graduates will be able to apply for jobs such as the teaching of English language and literature, translation, communication in English in the media, journalism, collaboration with cultural institutions and publishers.

Bachelor diploma (or equivalent)
The Academic Committee takes into consideration the final graduation mark of the first study cycle, where applicable, or alternatively the average grades as detailed in the Transcript of Records, considering that the minimum requirement is 90/100.
The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Italian.
You must take the original entry qualification documents with you when you finally go to the university.
English language at C1 level (CEFR) or equivalent. No certifications is required.
