At the University of Newcastle, we've designed our Computer Science degree to train graduates capable of solving the world's greatest challenges. When you study to be a computer scientist, you could help fight diseases by discovering biomarkers that allow early diagnosis. Admission to our undergraduate degree programs usually requires successful completion of a senior secondary school qualification similar to the Higher School Certificate (HSC), the highest educational award in New South Wales schools.
