About Management , MSc - at University of Liverpool

The University of Liverpool Management School is one of an elite group of institutions worldwide to be AACSB-Accredited.

‌‌This MSc programme will provide you with a sound theoretical grounding in the broad area of business and management, together with the ability to apply what you learn effectively within organisations.

You'll gain:-

  • a general overview of management and organisational processes
  • comprehensive management skills
  • effective tactical and strategic management abilities, including critical thinking
  • IT skills, including the use of financial and statistical software
  • effective written and spoken communication skills

 

This 12-month programme consists of four taught compulsory modules and four taught elective modules, followed by a research project.

Entry requirements

Normally a 2:1 honours degree in any discipline is expected from a UK university, or an equivalent academic qualification from a similar non-UK institution is required. Non-graduates with very extensive professional experience and/or other prior qualifications may also be considered. All candidates must meet our required level of English. International qualifications Applications from international students are welcomed. International qualifications will be evaluated in line with the National Academic Recognition Information Centre (NARIC) guidelines. English language qualifications All applicants must have reached a minimum required standard of English language, and are required to provide evidence of this. Qualifications accepted by the University include GCSE English; GCE O level English; AS Level English; A Level English Language; IELTS; TOEFL; Cambridge Proficiency etc. Please see www.liv.ac.uk/international/countries/index.htm for a full list. If you meet our other academic requirements but do not achieve the required level of English, it is possible to come and study at Liverpool on the University’s summer academic English programmes. The English Lanaguage Centre provides tuition and can arrange IELTS tests.
