About Forensic Science, BSc (Hons) - at University of Greenwich

Forensic scientists utilise skills from a wide range of academic disciplines. This programme's regular laboratory sessions, practical scenarios in our mock crime scenes and lectures from experts in their field give an insight into the fascinating world of present day forensic science.

Professional development

This degree enables you to receive high-quality, broad-based scientific training that will not restrict you when choosing your career. Both the theoretical and practical teaching given broadens the vital transferable skills that are needed for a successful career, not only in the Forensic Science industry, but also the pharmaceutical, chemistry and biological industry sectors.

  • To provide you with the confidence and ability to apply fundamental scientific principles to a variety of practical forensic science situations, specifically within a legal framework
  • To give you the skills to identify and solve problems. You will be able to use quantitative techniques to analyse and interpret data in order to evaluate and present evidence.
