The Department of English offers expertise in a variety of writers and eras – including in a wide range of literary specialisms and fields of English language – which will facilitate your exploration of your own interests in English study.
Please consider individual profiles in the staff section and make an informal enquiry with a tutor prior to applying.
If you interested in doing MRes-level research in the Department, please contact one of our academics with an appropriate specialism, in the first instance, who would act as your supervisor should you be offered a place.
