About Architecture at Kaunas University of Technology (KTU)

A dynamic, innovative and practical at the same time, programme is implemented through Studio method - study courses are integrated into a single complex task: students learn architecture-related principles of drawing, composition, physics, materials strengths, etc. and apply directly in the project they are working on. Another exclusivity of the programme lays in the historical, cultural, theoretical and philosophical critical analysis of existing typologies, associated with the design of aesthetic prototyping which integrates constructions, mechanical, ecological and economic research.

Notes about fees for this course

Tuition fee discounts for the residents of the EU, South and Central America, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey and Ukraine. All prospective students automatically become candidates to receive the International Student Scholarship which is assigned for the first year Bachelor or Masters students with strong academic record and motivation.

Entry requirements

Maximum 3 years after high school graduation is eligible.

Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original.

The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Russian.

The documents must be legalised (Apostille) by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country where the documents were issued. This requirement does not apply for the documents issued in the EU and Belarus, Ukraine.

IELTS ≥5.5, TOEFL ≥75, CEFR ≥B1, or equivalent
