Course Overview
The course will consider effective environmental management and best practice for their workplace, and environmental management systems, looking at how they take account of the organisation's vision, management structure, training and development, competence, records of performance and improvement plans to reduce environmental impact. It will examine how the management system encourages and promotes innovation and positive change, and the importance of culture of the organisation will be explored. Key environmental standards, such as Green Dragon, ISO 14001 and ISO 14064 will be considered and the organisations policies compared against them. Consideration will be given to how the organisation's suppliers also meet these environmental standards and how they plan to actively control their raw materials so as to responsibly manage sustainable sources.
