This Master's programme focuses on intelligent, socially aware, interactive systems designed to automatically meet user needs. It covers human computer interaction and artificial intelligence.
Focus and disciplines
Human Media Interaction focuses on intelligent interactive systems that can automatically respond to a user's emotions and social cues and make appropriate decisions on what action to take. You will learn to understand and employ techniques to automatically interpret user actions from different input modalities. You will learn to apply user-oriented design methodologies to use these intelligent systems in new ways and to test them in a scientific manner.
Research and specialization
We will challenge you to invent, develop, test and improve new generations of intelligent systems. Subjects include natural language processing, virtual agents, ambient entertainment, social robotics and artificial intelligence.
