Our MSc Biomedical Engineering degree is an advanced engineering degree that embraces biology and medicine to solve medical and healthcare challenges facing society.
Biomedical Engineering aims to create devices and systems to improve health and wellbeing, for example technologies for diagnosing and treating medical conditions, systems for imaging or monitoring patients or assisting them in their daily living.
You'll learn the skills to develop new engineering solutions and prepare to take on a leading role in developing future technologies and enabling patients, carers, healthcare practitioners and providers to improve and maintain health and wellbeing.
You can specialise in one of five pathways: musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, imaging, diagnostic systems, audiology.
