Overview
Enhance your musical creativity with innovative artistic practices and progressive technology, ready to grasp professional opportunities in films, games, digital media and the recording industries.
Through this course, you'll develop your creative practice alongside your digital literacy, and get to grips with the industry-standard software and processes you’ll use in a musical career. You'll hone your skills in enhancing your musical talent with advanced studio equipment, such as our Solid State Logic editing pods, Dolby Atmos Surround Sound Studio, and our CCIXR extended reality suite, preparing yourself for modern composition and production practice.
You'll be able to take industry certification in Protools and WWise, as we have certified school status, and you'll have access to the only Buchla System 7 synthesiser in a European university. By studying with academics who are practising professionals, working in both the technical and instrumental sides of the industry, you'll build your network of contacts alongside the skills to impress them through your career

You'll be entering a field that's constantly creating new outlets for new music - from television and art installations to digital media and interactive applications. When you graduate with experience of the practices, technologies and outlets for your music, you'll be able to show your readiness for careers across the creative media sector.
Graduate roles
Roles you could work in include:
112-120 points to include a minimum of 2 A levels, or equivalent. A relevant subject or experience in music/sound is required. Applicants without a relevant subject or experience will be asked to provide a portfolio to support their application.
English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.0 with no component score below 5.5.
