We are a leading institution for the study of nutrition. Our programme is one of a select group of nutrition degrees accredited by the UK Association for Nutrition. We investigate the relationship between nutrition, health and disease, and how good health can be promoted through diet. In addition, the programme focuses on the effect of food on physiology and metabolism.
We are committed to understanding and evaluating the socio-economic and behavioural determinants of nutrition-related issues so as to promote improved diet and health for all members of society. You will study the science of nutrition along with other students in diverse fields such as biomedical, biological and sports science.
Our teaching staff are highly qualified having received degrees or conducted research here at the University of Greenwich, and in other leading institutions such as King's College London, University of Cambridge, and University of Surrey.
Our courses support online learning as well as part-time and overseas study. This programme offers great links with employers, so you gain the skills and knowledge required by industry while increasing your employability prospects.
The aims of the programme are:
Your time at university should be enjoyable and rewarding, and it is important that it is not spoilt by unnecessary financial worries.
