Hospitality is one of the worlds fastest-growing industries.In the UK, it has an annual turnover of around £90 billion and employs more than two million people. Our courses will make you employable in international hotels and resorts and in a range of tourism and hospitality businesses.
This programme has been developed to meet the demand for entrepreneurial, creative and strategic managers in the international hospitality industry. You will gain a critical understanding of the current industry challenges and acquire a set of tools and strategies for overcoming them.
You will explore this diverse industry through international case studies, practical group work, business problems and interactive workshops. You will study topics including tourism entrepreneurship and technology, operations management, event production, financial planning and revenue management, human resources and marketing.Degree structure
During your second year, you will have the opportunity to gain first-hand experience of the industry by undertaking an hospitality internship. This can be in the UK or overseas, with support from the university, and will count as credits towards your degree. You will also have the option to undertake a year work placement, providing further insight and practical skills development.
In your final year, you will undertake a research project in which you will analyse a complex business problem and apply your knowledge to suggest innovative solutions.Employability

They also provide you with CV support and will inviteyou to employment fairs to network with employers and recruiters fromindustries. We are actively improving job prospects for graduatesthrough the support we provide. According to survey findings, 93 per centof 2014/15 Greenwich graduates looking for work were already in jobs or furtherstudy by January 2016.Experience abroad
