During this course you gain the ability to design and develop the high quality software needed by the computer games industry. Alongside this, you gain a complete understanding of the games industry and develop a portfolio of work to showcase your skills. Throughout the course you * gain advanced technical skills in computer games software design and development * expand your expertise in all areas of the games industry * learn how businesses work and the processes involved in the industry * learn to make project and strategic management decisions We have many links with the games industry. These give you opportunities to engage with people working in the industry and to display your talents to important employers. You can also take advantage of quality placement opportunities with employers such as * Codemaster UK * Sony Computer Entertainment Group * Kuju Entertainment. We expect you to be highly motivated and enthusiastic, and have excellent interpersonal skills. You must also have the drive and initiative to complete this course. You graduate with a masters degree at the end of four years of study. This means you have the advantage of the undergraduate fee repayment structure, where you don't start paying back your fees until you are earning above a set limit. This is currently £15,000 a year. You learn to design and develop high quality software for the computer games industry.
