About Acting Foundation at Regent's University London

This is a highly practical programme for those who wish to gain the core physical, vocal and communication skills of the actor.

There are two intakes a year - January and September - with the January intake being an intensive programme.

The course enables students who are interested in theatre, but have limited practical experience, to explore and develop their potential as performers.

It is designed to equip you with the resources, confidence and industry know-how to negotiate your way through the transfer to drama school or university.

In addition to intensive practical scene study, you will learn about the social and cultural contexts of the theatre experience, and gain practical experience of the London theatre scene.

This is foundation-level, non-award programme. Students receive a certificate of attendance upon completion.

Why should I choose this programme?

You will complete the programme with a personal portfolio reflecting your skills and experience, as well as the confidence and industry know-how to enter this exciting field.

You will show your work to an invited audience through an exciting end-of-programme event.
