You gain a deep understanding of ocean currents, waves, and the fluxes of various chemical substances and physical properties within the ocean and across its boundaries.
You also study the role of biological organisms in these important processes, and in energy and biomass transfer through the ocean system. This is a crucial topic in an era of climate change.
