The programme in Youth Mission is for people who want to explore the creative new ways of missionally engaging with young people in our contemporary culture. This programme is designed for lay or ordained persons, from all traditions, who are interested in examining, assessing and leading such initiatives in mission through the discipline of postgraduate level study and personal research.
This programme can be taken in a number of ways; as a postgraduate Certificate, Diploma or MA, as full time or part time and is part of a larger programme offering additional specific streams in Children and Youth.
Students on the Youth stream take two compulsory units, with two optional units. The two five-day residential taught units cover youth mission and a unit that shares additional themes common to both children's and youth mission.
Each unit is assessed by a 6,000-7,000 word paper or equivent.
