About Multimedia Journalism at Bournemouth University

If you'd like an exciting career in the fast-paced world of journalism then this is the course for you. Develop the skills needed to work in a multi-disciplinary media environment including TV, radio, print and online journalism.

Entry requirements

For September 2020 and September 2021 entry:

The entry requirements for this course are 104 - 120 UCAS tariff points including a minimum of 2 A-levels or equivalent. BTEC Extended Diploma: 112 tariff points (Grade DMM). All subjects are considered. 

For September 2020 entry:

IELTS (Academic) 7.0 with minimum 6.5 in writing and 6.0 in all other components, or equivalent.

For September 2021 entry: 

IELTS (Academic) 7.0 with minimum 6.5 in writing and in all other components, or equivalent.
