Foundation year: We have a foundation year option for students who do not meet the entry requirements for the degree course. This additional year of study will give you a grounding in the media & communication skills required for this course, building your confidence, knowledge and skills for further study. After successful completion of the foundation year, you will progress to the full degree.

We are proud to have been accredited by the NCTJ for our specially designed sport pathway. Further accreditations will be sought as we transition into the second year of the course.

Entry requirements

For September 2024 and September 2025 entry: 104 - 120 UCAS tariff points including a minimum of two A-levels or equivalent. BTEC Extended Diploma: DMM.

International entry requirements: Please see below some examples of the qualifications for entry onto Year 1 for September 2024 and September 2025 entry:

China: Chinese Senior High School Graduation Certificate (Huikao) average 80%, or Gaokao 61-71%. Grade depends on the course
France: Baccalaureate with 11.5–12.5 overall or 10.5-11.5 (international option)
Hong Kong: HKDSE Diploma (4,4,3 to 4,4,4 from three subjects). Grade depends on the course
India: All India Senior School Certificate Examination (Standard XII) 60-70%
Spain: Titulo de Bachillerato with 6 - 7. Grade depends on the course
Turkey: Devlet Lise Diplomasi/Lise Bitirme Diplomasi 3.5/5.0 or 70%

For September 2024 and September 2025 entry: If English is not your first language you'll need IELTS (Academic) 7.0 with a minimum of 6.5 in writing and 6.0 in all other components, or equivalent.
