Alphacrucis College is excited to offer ACC ministers the opportunity to obtain an accredited Diploma of Ministry by participating in a 5 day RPL mode. This RPL mode draws upon your many years of ministry experience and provides quality gap training.
This popular training initiative is endorsed by the ACC National President, Pastor Wayne Alcorn, and is specifically design for experienced ministers and leaders.
What is RPL?
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is an assessment process through which the skills, knowledge and experience that you already have may count towards the achievement of a nationally recognised qualification. Sometimes also referred to as 'skills recognition', RPL involves a formal assessment process, focusing on your ability to demonstrate that you have the required level of skills, knowledge and experience to meet the requirements for competency in the unit/s within the qualification.
You will join a supportive cohort of ministers to share best practice and learn from one another. You will also receive teaching and input from the best trainers and some of the great leaders in our movement. The Sydney class will be held at AC Central (Parramatta Campus), and the Perth class will be held at the WA ACC Hub in Victoria Park - both venues are amidst vibrant cafes and shops.
There are three simple steps for enrolling:
Step 1 - Application
Complete the RPL Pre-Application Form, providing as much information of your previous experience in ministry as you can.
Click here to complete the online RPL Application Form.
Applications close Monday 24 October 2016.
Step 2 - Gather the Evidence
Once it has been determined you have enough skills to progress in this process, you will be requested to complete the RPL Evidence Checklist. An assessor will review the information you have provided. Be sure to provide as much detail as possible. As assessor may contact you to discuss any items of evidence provided. You may also provide additional information to help support your checklist.

Step 3 - One Week Intensive

During this week you will hear from leading practitioners in Biblical interpretation, Theology and Ethics, Leadership, and cross-cultural ministry. The final pieces of evidence will be collect during this week.
AC will provide lunch, morning and afternoon tea for the five-day duration, commencing with a orientation dinner on Monday night.
I am looking forward to seeing you.

What do previous students have to say?
The DipMin RPL intensive added some structure and missing content to my existing years of experience as a pastor. It has become a solid building block in the growth of both my ministry and church.
Ps David Vicary, Eternity Church, WA
The group times, I loved batting though the materials and
gleaning further insight / revelations from the others, really helpful.
Ps Karen MacLeod, South West Christian Church, Hoppers Crossing, VIC
From application to graduation we had a 5-star experience.
The course was most enjoyable and life building.
Ps Mark Senanayake, Carousel Church, Queens Park, WA
The Diploma of Ministry (Leadership) RPL acknowledged and enhanced the ministry and leadership skills I had been developing for years as a senior pastor. With wonderful support from the AC lecturers during the intensive, by the end of the week I walked away not only with the qualification, but feeling refreshed and encouraged for my ministry.
Ps Chris Smith, ACC NSW State Secretary/Treasurer
