The University of Melbourne has been around for over 160 years, and it has a reputation for being one of the leaders in research and innovation. Through the years, it has cemented itself as a top university for studies in medicine, engineering, life sciences and social sciences.

The University of Queensland is another university that consistently ranks high in world rankings due to its strong research efforts in areas of science and technology, as well as medicine.

With over 60,000 students, Monash University is the largest in Australia in terms of student body size. As a member of Academic Consortium 21, the University of Adelaide is one of the country’s and the world’s most research-intensive universities.
